Preference
So, what do you guys think of this idea for asking a guy to Preference? On the back of one of those 24 piece puzzles, write "Will you go to Preference with me on the eve of the 28th?" And then in the puzzle box, have the letters in my name and then have him unscramble it. You can give suggestions for the wording because I don't think it's very good. So, let me know. Thanks. Love you all.

Ok, so not much new is going on in my life right now. But let's see if I can find something worth writing about. Ok, the ward campout on Aug. 22-23 was amazing. It's a month late, but better late than never, right? We went to Cadomin Caves. Here are a few pics.
The entrance to the cave. Dadada.
That was a really steep part. You had to climb up on your hands and knees it was so steep.
We named this Golom's Cave.
Group photo of the girls.
Group photo of the boys.
I really liked this mountain, it made a very pretty picture.
Ok, a little more recent. Let's see. Work is good. The Relief Society broadcast was really good. I really Dieter F. Uchtdorf's talk, it was a gooder. I think that's all, for now. I'll update more frequently from now on. It's good to set goals, even if you may not accomplish the goal. TTFN.

YSA Beach Party
So, on Saturday we had a YSA beach party at the Stringham's cabin. They had boats and wakeboards, tubes. It was soo much fun. I tried wakeboarding, but I didn't manage to get up, I tried several times and I drank quite a bit of the water but it was a lot of fun. Next time I try it though, I am gonna succeed. Then I went tubing and that was a lot of fun. The tube completely flipped when three kids were on it and Bro. Burnham was scared that they were hurt but they thought that it was a lot of fun, I guess that they hit the wave just right, so the tube flipped and I guess one of the kids flew like 10 feet in the air before he hit the water. Then I just went swimming and talked and made new friends. I had a lot of fun at it. I love wakeboarding now. Sorry if this sounds like I'm rambling, but it was a lot of fun and I know that you're all jealous of me.

Highland Games
So, this guy's name is Matt Doherty and that rock is apparently 98 lbs. which is, admittedly, unbelievable but I believe him because I wasn't about to pick up that rock and see. I had told him I wanted a picture of him holding the rock and he picks up this itty bitty little thing that might have weighed 2 lbs. and I was like "not that little thing, the big one."He managed to throw that thing 14.1 ft, which is amazing.
This is only some of the pictures, I'll have more on Facebook.

A new post just for you Mish. Ok, so I didn't mention that I'm super excited for you to come up and get a week off of work but it was getting late and I was trying to get off the internet quickly. But please accept my humblest and sincerest apologies. I hope you'll forgive me. I am really excited for you all to come and I can't wait to see Aerin and Kian for the first time and Mady and Scott again and of course my sisters.

The long awaited update
So, I'm going to California in a week. Man, I am sooo excited. We're going to Disneyland. I want to go on the Peter Pan, Pirates of the Carribbean and the log ride, my friend recommended the first two. Other than that, there's not much else that's new in my life. I'll think overly hard tonight and I'll post again soon. If not, I will either post on Tues. b4 we leave or as soon as we get back.

Elder Nelson's fireside
So, on Sunday the 20th an apostle, Russell M. Nelson, spoke to the Young Single adults, so the 18 - 30 year olds. It was soo good. His wife, Wendy, spoke about changes and how we either change or we decide to change and then we make a U-turn or we're just not willing to change. Then Elder Nelson spoke about the Savior and the Atonement. I loved that is was him that came because he has been my favorite apostle for the longest time. I even got to meet him and shake his hand after it was over. I haven't washed my right hand yet. Now that I've gotten a reaction, I'm kidding. I've washed my hands several times since Sunday. So, I really loved the talks. Sheri L. Dew was suppossed to come too, but she couldn't and Sis. Nelson told us how upset Sheri was that she couldn't come and how she had texted Sheri telling her how cold and blizzardly it was and that Sheri's disappointment soon faded. But, I am happy to announce that it has stopped blizzardind but it is still snowing and it's no longer -15, it's warming up a bit.

This is Maren Ord and Kirby Heyborne after they she sang one of her songs and he played the guitar. So, the Kirby Heyborne concert was at 2:30 pm at the Myer Horowitz Theatre. We had a 11 minute and 30 second intermission. He wrote a song about Canada that was really funny. It started something like this "I stepped off of the airplane and froze. All my thoughts froze." I really liked how in the song he said "My home and native land" instead of "Your home and native land." I would have put the song on but the computer wouldn't transfer any of the videos from the concert. Sorry. He made a lot of jokes that were so funny. My seat was CTR F 22, so it was fairly good seats. After the concert I went to a friends house and then we went to the dinner at Cindy's house and I got his autograph and a picture with him. It was really fun and definately worthy of a journal entry.
